Alpha Xi Foundation

The Alpha Xi Foundation is currently being formed as the fund raising home of the Alpha Xi chapter.  When complete, it will hold funds donated to further our mission and support local scholarships for our members.

We currently have many fundraising initiatives.  Please read more below and contact a board member if you would like to help in any way.  The fraternity would not exist without the support of our donors and volunteers.  We thank you very much for your support!!!

Scholarship Fund

Every year, six merit based scholarships are awarded to those in our brotherhood who best exemplify the fraternity's ideals*.  It is our goal to continue to expand local scholarship opportunities for our members in number and in magnitude.  Alpha Xi scholarships are supported in two ways, sponsorship and donations to our endowment fund.  Sponsors of each individual Founders' Award contribute annually in the amount of the scholarship, ensuring that we can continue to support the awards.  Contributions to the endowment fund are invested through the USD Foundation with the annual interest acting as perpetual support for the scholarship fund.  If you would like to sponsor one of our Founders' Awards scholarships or are interested in becoming a charter member of our scholarship foundation, please contact one of the board members listed on our Board of Directors page.  Donations to both funds are tax deductible and accommodations can be made for lump sum or periodically scheduled giving.

Housing Fund

Providing quality group housing for our members is one of our important long term goals as an organization.  However, this is substantial investment that requires the support of many committed donors.  We welcome your support in beginning our fund raising for this initiative.  Please contact a board member today if you are able to help in any way!

General Fund

If you would like to support the general administrative and operational needs of the Alpha Xi chapter, you may donate to our general fund.  These donations go directly into the fraternity's business account and will be reallocated to the area of greatest need as determined by the Board of Directors.  Please contact a Board member to donate to this account.

*Current scholarship recipients are profiled in the Founders' Men page
